environment and energy: the vote!
If I had to vote, I would probably vote for Obama. I really like that he plans to cut Greenhouse Gas Emissions and I also like the Cap and Trade Plan. I think it's unrealistic for McCain to say that he is going to give $5000 tax deductions to people who buy clean cars. Spending money and putting it towards something everyone can benefit from is what I think will be more helpful in the longrun. I don't agree with help for the environment turning into a competition. I don't really understand what McCain is trying to do with coal from the speech today. I do know that Obama wants to make fuel prices lower, which is beneficial to me.

Obama is actually offering a $7,000 tax credit to those who buy zero emission cars...which is more than McCain ($5,000).
Its important to not let fuel prices and the environment become one argument. If anything, lower fuel prices is bad for the environment because it means we then burn more fuel.
Physical policy...does anyone in the country understand it. Why are we giving tax breaks for buying certain cars!
