Should there be limits on interest group participation?

I don't think there should be limits on interest group participation. The whole purpose of interest groups is to target the interests of individuals for the the greater good. If George Soros wanted to donate $15.8 million to MoveOn.org, then so be it. I don't think that 4H groups should have the same voice as the National Dairy Association. The National Dairy Association is for the whole country and is for food and health of the nation. 4H can be different in which ever county a person may reside in. I do think that wealthier groups do have a more prominent voice, as they should, because they have the resources that make their point known.

how hard would it be to determine fairly which interest groups are more popular. What standard would you use
